Friedrich Praus

FH-Prof. Mag. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Friedrich Praus

2005 schloss ich das Diplomstudium Informatik, 2008 das Magisterstudium Informatikmanagement und 2015 das Doktorratsstudium an der TU Wien ab. Seit 2010 bin ich an der FH Technikum Wien sowohl in der Lehre, als auch in der Forschung tätig. Seit 2016 bin ich Studiengangsleiter vom Bachelor Studiengang Smart Homes und Assistive Technologien. Meine inhaltlichen Schwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der Embedded Systems und Smart Homes. Die Kernthemen dabei sind drahtlose (KNX RF, EnOcean, ZigBee, ...) und drahtgebundene Gebäudeautomationssysteme (KNX, LonWorks, BACnet) und deren (sichere) Integration in Active Assited Living Anwendungen.
